This journal is going to be a tad incoherent and all over the place, so be forewarned. >_<

v_v Gosh, I am terrible. My last journal update was in April!?? Oh dear... ;_; And people were still watching me and faving my stuff despite my inactivity?? You guys...!! *sob* I'm not woooorthhyyy T_T

My DA New Year's resolution is to be more active on here. I have many other personal resolutions, of course, but this one has my poor, neglected account on the line. Please forgive me.

And yayyy, I found an orange journal layout! ^^ I need a banner or something... Or to eventually code my own CSS. :'D

Now, to sum up my time since April... I graduated from high school, I went to AX 'o8 thanks to (THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CONVINCING ME TO COME, LANI ^__^ You've literally changed my life when you invited me to that con, I kid you not!! >_< ), aaand, I finished my first semester in college! Whooo~~! My schedule was crazy, but I got used to it over time. Next semester isn't quite so bad, though I do have to wake up a bit earlier. I've had many good and, um...not-so-good experiences during the past few months. x'D But they've all made me grow into a better person, and that's what counts, right? Yosh~~

Most memorable experience: receiving my first birthday wishes from an amazing exchange student from work! ;-; She even gave me a card, even though I had mentioned it only once in that unintelligible, mumbling voice of mine. T___T So kiiinddddd...!

Experience that I will probably LOL at someday: breaking down in front of my astronomy teacher after he severely scolded me. x'D I've derived some pretty good lessons from this instance, at least. But graghhhh, I hate crying in front of people, especially those in positions of some sort of authority. T-T

I haven't mentioned this beforehand on DA, but I'm in my university's Visual Communications: Illustration program. I took Art 101 (drawing), Art 102 (color and design), Japanese 101, and Astronomy. I've never taken any art classes before in my life aside from a crafts program I did in middle school, so creating art in the world of academia was very new to me! >_< Quite the experience...! I personally found drawing from life very fun, especially when we had nude models come in. (Hush, you pervs. xD) I love drawing curvy, voluminous parts of the body. If I wasn't such an animu-obsessed freak, I would draw realistic renditions of people allll dayyy lonnngg~~ x3 With the occasional natural scenery~ I truly am in love with art. It's not just an anime thing.

The only problem is, during this ~4-5 month time, I've drawn mainly realism and hardly any animu-styled art. So my stylized art is a bit rusty. v_v;;

Also, during my time in uni... I made lots of new friends! ;_; I know I probably sound like a little kindergartener coming home from the first day of school and announcing to the world about her new found buddies... T_T But the friends I made are such wonderful people! So friendly, so kind! I'm so happy to have met them. >_< I won't talk too much about this, lest I go into my rambling, sappy mode... Err. >_>; I'm sure my drivel is semi-clear.

And let's not forget my love, ! x3 You are my number one!!!

Updates of what I'm currently into... Fangirling over Code Geass, Axis Powers Hetalia (ROMANOOOO~~ CHINA~~~ AMERICA~~!!!! ), and the jdrama version of Hana Yori Dango.
